Bracket: A decorative projection on a wall supporting the upper members of a cornice, beam, or other overhang; called a console when used vertically and a modillion when used horizontally.
Applications: These castings have many creative uses as light sconces, wall planters and display accents.
Note: Brackets are not intended to provide structural support but can be made hollow to surround a structural support.
